So yes  - you have to pay the sales tax by law as it is legally a transaction for an NJ business.

 

This does not go to me.

$35 goes right to the state.

It is not part of your tattoo payment.

I did not tell NJ to put tax on tattoos.

I also do not like this rule.

Complain to my governor, not me.

This deposit is non-refundable.

It is however, removed from the cost of your tattoo session.
